Me as a
Mastering Engineer

My
Way to
Final Delivery and Enjoyment
Mastering has become one of my newer passions on my musical journey. I had the incredible opportunity to take a mastering course at Berklee with Professor Jett Galindo, and I immediately fell in love with this unique approach to musical delivery.
For me, mastering is all about bringing my objective perspective to the table, allowing me to evaluate music while still enjoying the listening experience. Throughout the mastering process, it’s essential for me to stay organized in order to meet all technical delivery requirements, while also putting myself in the shoes of the audience to ensure the record remains enjoyable.
Unlike songwriting and production, mastering often comes with tighter deadlines and higher stakes. Yet, it’s during this crucial phase that I truly experience a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment as I push my boundaries to elevate the record to its best possible form. It is the step that transforms the mix into its highest quality and bridges the gap between the studio or computer and the listener's ears. Although this crucial step is sometimes overlooked in the music-making process, it’s one that simply can’t be ignored.
This year, as I connect more with clients, I’m embracing the challenge of working with stereo tracks and striving to elevate their records to meet their expectations, helping them realize that their music can always sound even better.
Mastering is genuinely one of my favorite ways to collaborate with others while exploring the potential that emerges when my musical taste complements someone else's vision.
